Dream of being an author? Writing a secret novel? Have a great story idea, but never time to write? Join Saturday Morning Write-Ins! Writing together makes us feel like writing!
Bring questions and receive personalized techniques. Next, dive into a delicious writing hour. Then, share out successes, craft moves, and positive feedback.
Note: Write-Ins aren’t childcare, tutoring, or remediation; this experience is for youth with a work-in-progress, an idea they’re dying to get to, or a passion for writing.
Golden Apple winner and children’s writer, Jill Bixel, shares her novel-writing process firsthand. Write-Ins begin with the spiral notebooks and google docs youth bring each Saturday and culminate in a writing display family and friends can visit at the library.
